Pay-Per-Click Account Audit

Google AdWords makes it very easy for just about anyone to set up a pay-per-click account and start advertising (read - spend money!).

We will provide you with an unbiased, professional PPC Audit Report, highlighting areas of weakness and opportunities to increase your ROAS (return on ad spend).

We will review all of the following areas (and some extras!):

  • Keywords - Too many, too few or not optimized.
  • Ads - There are many factors to consider here (Heading, ad text, display URL etc). Should have at least 2 ads for each adgroup.
  • Keyword groupings - Are the keywords relevant to one another, the ads and the landing pages?
  • Settings - Many default settings are not ideal and should be changed.
  • Landing Pages - Is it clear to the user what is expected of them? It is often easier for a third party to see if this is the case.
  • Budget - Is the budget in line with amount of keywords and competition level?
  • Targets (Geographic and some demographic) - Many people target too many cities/countries etc with the ads. There are a few best practices to consider here.

Based on a combination of data provided by AdWords and Analytics (if available), our experience and best practices, we will come up with a detailed report of our recommendations.

Some examples of our recommendations are:

  • Should not be targeting Search and Display Networks in one campaign
  • Match types need to be addressed
  • Conversion tracking is not in place - you cannot measure success effectively.
  • AdWords account is not linked to Analytics account, meaning that you are missing out on huge amounts of very useful data.
