Jeff Nelson - PresidentJeff Nelson is the president of Anduro Marketing, a Calgary, Alberta based company he and business partner Damon James started in 2001. Anduro Marketing is an established leader in the dynamic field of online marketing, which involves strategies and techniques designed to increase site traffic and online presence, qualified leads, and sales revenues for its customers.
Jeff has an MBA (Haskayne School of Business) and a BA from the University of Alberta. His career encompasses 15 years in the IT industry, specifically sales and marketing, and two years as a quality assurance and business consultant. Jeff's consulting assignments include internet marketing, business intelligence reporting, process re-engineering, designing and implementing ISO 9000 Quality Management Systems, and developing competitor benchmark comparisons. He is also a sessional business instructor at the University of Calgary and at Mount Royal College. When not busy with work, Jeff likes to spend time baking bread and pies - strawberry rhubarb is a particular specialty.
Damon James - VP OperationsDamon James graduated from the Multimedia program at Lethbridge Community College and has worked in the Web industry for over 10 years. Before starting Anduro Marketing with business partner Jeff Nelson, Damon had held positions in web design and technology companies such as Impact Blue and Big Picture Technologies. As Vice President of Operations at Anduro Marketing, he specializes in search engine optimization (SEO) and internet marketing. His past expressions of the entrepreneurial spirit included starting up a painting company and a small comic book studio.
Matt Olah - VP Business DevelopmentMatt was born in Ontario and raised in Nova Scotia, Alberta, and BC but has called Calgary his home since 1996. The son of a businessman father and artist mother, Matt has straddled these two worlds throughout his career. He built his first website in the 90s for a band he was in and quickly fell into the world of online marketing. After finishing his Education degree, Matt started his own internet marketing firm, which served many local, national, and international clients. Matt joined the Anduro Marketing team in 2007 as Vice President of Business Development. Over 10 years after building his first website, Matt continues to learn about working and marketing online and he still performs regularly throughout Western Canada with his band, Cowpuncher.
Stefanie Baier - PPC SpecialistStefanie has been working with Anduro Marketing for the past two years, initially as an Administrative Assistant. With the support of Anduro, Stefanie dutifully completed a series of courses and exams to transition to the role of Pay per Click (PPC) Specialist, creating and managing paid online advertising accounts for Anduro Marketing's diverse clientele. Presently, Stefanie is immersing herself in the world of Social Media, blogging and 'tweeting' her way to new levels of online marketing success.
Stefanie has a Business Diploma, with a focus on Marketing, from Mount Royal College and she is currently enrolled in the school's Marketing Specialist Program. Stefanie and her boyfriend Mark have two big, beautiful dogs that they spoil more than most people do their children. On the weekends, you will rarely see the two without their dogs (a white German Shepherd - Lab cross and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever) be it camping, hiking, or hanging out at the dog park!
Nicholette Freele - Office ManagerNicholette Freele was born and raised in Calgary. She graduated from Fashion Marketing at Olds College in 2007. She was the Project Manager for Alberta Fashion Week where she maintained communication and correspondence with sponsors and designers.
Nicholette has a strong background in fashion, but has a passion for all forms of art. She joined the Anduro team in March of 2010 and brings with her over five years of administrative experience. As Marketing Coordinator, she covers an array of administrative and marketing tasks.
Joe Armstrong has worked with Anduro Marketing, as an employee and independent contractor, over the course of the last 5 years. He is a Google AdWords Qualified Individual and holds a Bachelors of Applied Communication from Mount Royal College. While his primarily role is that of a copywriter, Joe is well versed in online marketing and has served as an account manager for Anduro in the past. Joe has leveraged his skills in these areas as well as technical communication and teaching English (Joe is TESL certified), in his global adventures throughout the Middle and Far East.
Doug has over 20 years sales and marketing management experience. After graduating with a B.A. in psychology from the University of Saskatchewan, Doug started work at Saskatoon's daily newspaper, The StarPhoenix. In 1995, after six years of successful sales performance in circulation and advertising, Doug pioneered the paper's web publishing efforts while simultaneously pursuing an MBA, graduating in 1999.
Doug continued to develop his career in the newspaper software business, spending a whirlwind year consulting on international newspaper web publishing for net-linx Publishing Solutions (now Miles 33). In 2001, Doug joined TELUS Mobility and was responsible for product marketing of enterprise class wireless data and voice solutions, including TELUS' first BlackBerry offering and the launch of the 1X network (TELUS' initial move towards 3G). In 2004, Doug joined Canada Newswire (now known as CNW Group), rising to the position of Vice-President Western Canada in just three years. In 2009, Doug formed his own company, communicatto, which helps businesses leverage the power of social media while integrating traditional and digital PR and marketing.
